Hello There If people are thinking they are getting a deal by buying the voucher, THEY ARE WRONG. Next time if I go there, I will photograph the food and the quantity they serve to customers. The sizzler platter for two is just Onion Bhajias and one Samosa,(cut into half), two piece of tiny chicken and one piece of Kabab. If you like chicken you should try this place if beef or lamb is your thing stay away as the night we thought we would try the place both lamb and beef dishes had run out as it was a Tuesday and shops were open for them to replenish i thought this was a bit slack so if you are planing on dining ring first to ensure the complete menu is on offer . also the fact that all dishes could be altered to chicken even a lamb rogan josh could was offered as a chicken dish makes me think not much is fresh in the kitchen
This was our second time we dined at Simply spice and like the first time, the food was made to perfection. The Korma and the Butter Chicken (both mild) were to die for. This would have been a perfect 5 if it were not for the waiter that had served us first. Earlier I had called and asked if we could book a table, however he didnt understand me and asked me to hang up and call again because he did not understand and hear me. I called again and he answered and after about 10 minutes going round in circles, he said that it wasnt busy and that we can pop in any time. When we did turn up he served us and showed us to our table, which was good however when we asked him questions about the menu he did not understand us which was frustrating. However we were served by another waiter and he was awesome and took our order and answered any questions we had. Awesome food, let down by that one person. Must try though

Food was average, service was terrible. Also on a all you can eat voucher they are just been silly, one of our mains had capsicum (partner doesn't eat capsicum) in it and we he all the meat, sauce but they wouldn't let us order another main just because we hadn't eaten the capsicum...! Really come on...just looking to get out of their deal.My main was very salty and inedible so obviously I couldn't order a second main also as I hardly touched the first coz it tasted so bad.
One of the great Indian Restaurants in Auckland. Food and Service are GREAT. Now one of my favourite destinations in Auckland. Good on you guys
