Wendy's - Henderson

Fast food places increase their prices and are now comparable to actual restaurants. it was $10.99 for the Italian mozzarella chicken sandwich combination. it was pretty good, but I didn't know that when I asked for extra marinara sauce, as so many sandwiches aren't sosty and are dry as result (and they weren't very generous with it even then) they charged me $1. and if you want to charge someone, you should always alert them before you just go forward and click the button, but that didn't happen. I learned that I charged an extra dollar when I was sitting there eating it. not a big thing, but only worth mentioning. on a positive note: how the andy Griffith show was on TV. that was my grandfather's favorite show.

My wife, mother, and I realized we were almost out of time to use our frosty coupons, so we ran into this Wendy's as we were running errands and the lady behind the counter was super nice and a pleasure to talk to. The frosties were delicious. We got to try the mint frosty which was much better than anticipated. I don't usually like peppermint things, but it was almost like vanilla ice cream just just the right (light) mint flavor. I didn't get a drink, but would like to also point out that they had a freestyle soda machine.

Food was good. They were fast and we got what we ordered. The dining room was clean. I went with my daughter in law and my grand daughter and a good time was had by all.Kid-friendliness: Not always are kids recognized at counter but my seven year old grand daughter was treated like she was older. This impresses me.

Food was wonderful. Staff was friendly. It was a little slow through the drive thru but they were understaffed. Homeless guy made things a little uncomfy but that's not a part of this place.Food: 5/5
