What Dee Reynolds doesn't like about Sunset Pizzeria:
2 stars because of the pizza. It is not NYC pizza. The food is good but the pizza could be better. We ordered delivery for the 2nd week in a row and the pizza is doughy and flops at the end when folded. The under carriage is not done enough. Yesterday, we asked for the pizza to be crispy on the bottom (NYC style) and this time it was worse then the last time. It was too thin, doughy and greasy on the underside. When you lifted up the pizza you could see the grease on the bottom of pizza. Very disappointing that whoever was making the pizza on a Sunday did not know how to or didn't care. When you order pizza and then have to finish cooking it in the oven yourself things are not good. However, the delivery guy was great and the other food we order was good.
I have been long time customer. Recently I ordered Antipasta salad with 4x the meat because there is so little in the standard. Well I didn't get it . This happened twice so I'm seeing a trend. When I called to voice my descepencies from what I ordered to what i got. Their attitude was not what I had hoped for, for a long time customer who tips really well . Usually around 50 percent of the bill. So I'm ending my patronage with this establishment. I will take my business where it is appreciated and deserved.
We recently visited this pizza place with our company, and we were absolutely thrilled with the experience. From the moment we walked in, we were treated so well by the friendly and attentive staff. The food was delicious – the pizzas and chicken wing's were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was phenomenal, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our meal. We'll definitely be coming back with our family. Highly recommend!

Omg what a hidden gem. I don’t want tourists to find this one. Bartender recommended the phili cheese steak so I got it., didn’t look like much but as soon as I bit into it,,,, sooooooo freaking good!!! Then someone got the wings so I had to try them because they looked so good. What the heck are they doing to those wings? Fall off the bone AND crispy? My eyes rolled back in my head they were so good. Met Terry the owner, really cool cat! I will come back all the time. Can’t wait to try more.
