Honestly disappointed that it took me so long to try this. It was because of such horrible reviews, so I went in with low expectations. In fact such low expectations we had noodles from the place next door first in case the sandwich was gross. I ended up loving the sandwich! Got the Italian with all the toppings minus onions, they toast the subs Quiznos style(man I miss Quiznos lol) they have a good variety of chips... View all feedback.
What Gourmand doesn't like about Potbelly Sandwich Shop:
Food was ok not prepared how I had ordered it, but still tasted fine.Staff were unfriendly during my encounter and looked like they hated working there.Location is also not ideal as it is not easy getting in and out of this area. View all feedback.

Got the Italian with all the toppings minus onions, they toast the subs Quiznos style(man I miss Quiznos lol) they have a good variety of chips outside typical lays options which I appreciate and they have glass bottles of soda yumm for some reason soda always tastes better from a glass bottle. Anyways even though I ended up eating y sandwich cold a couple hours later I was still pleasantly surprised. I do get how people are complaining about the staff but I'd give up personable staff for a good toasted sandwich.
Went by tonight to try a sandwich from them. A customer was already complaining about issues with their ordering app; but I figured I was there in person; so the app was not an issue. I ordered the sandwich, watched them make it then went to the register to pay. THEY DON 'T ACCEPT CASH! The manager said they can 't take cash; even though every dollar bill in your pocket states it is legal tender . I do not frequent businesses that do not accept American Currency.

They CLOSED EARLY!!! The food is good, but damn update the store times!! Gas is too expensive for this, what a shame !
This review could be purely based on the service. Now I 'm not sure if I was being punked, or that was the genuine disposition of the two young men working tonight, but either way, it rocked. Sarcastic or not, I appreciated the emphatic greeting. The sandwich was ready by the time we arrived, as it was an online order. Super quick and efficient, and cherry, as you would have it.The sandwich though- it 's why we go to Potbelly. These guys understood the assignment when it came to the Lucky 7. Potbelly bread goes without saying, crunchy but still soft and just holds everything in- the best it can. The Lucky 7 should just be called the Meat Sweats/Food Coma. Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, Mortadella, Capicola, Salami, Pepperoni, Provolone and then add whatever veggies you like, not excluding roasted red peppers, giardiniera, artichokes(! It 's absurd and a full meal for a pair of people. It was great and we will keep coming back.
