Contribute Feedback What Nessa M likes about Biscuits And Bourbon:
Biscuits and Bourbon had no record of our Open Table reservation; fortunately, since it was early there was plenty of seating. Excellent staff. Bourbon candied pork belly was very tasty, however, our biscuits were disappointingly small, hard, and dry and the gravy too spicy for us. Apple Arugula Salad was interesting, but the requested additional chicken was a little spicy. Smoked tri-tip average, mac and cheese diff... View all feedback.
What KennethR doesn't like about Biscuits And Bourbon:
Terrible! Reservations made week ahead and had multiple confirmations sent back including day before. Then told we don't honor reservations by hostess when arrived. These were made from their website. Ruined plans! View all feedback.
Came by for dinner with my wife and 1 year old. We got a single meat tray and a double meat tray. We tried the pulled pork, brisket and burnt ends. Each tray came with 2 sides. The pulled pork was average, the brisket was a little fatty but still goodnone the less, not too dry. The burnt ends were delicious, but didn't seem like true burnt ends. I had the corn as one of myaides and was dissapointed but the Mac and cheese made uo for it. The baked beans were okay, not terrible but not great. Servicewas great and food came out super quick. I would say 5 minutes after we ordered, we were both shocked. Looking forward to tryingit again!
WOW what an amazing place! This was my first time stopping by and I was drawn in by the friendly staff and the smell of meat being smoked! HELLO! Biscuits and Bourbon is actually smoking things on the back patio and when I smelled it, I got super hungry- super fast. We started with some of the best greet tomatoes I have had since we left Atlanta, then I dove into a plate of ribsand brisket. I almost started crying it was so good. They had several sauces to poor on the meat as it fell off the bone and anentire top shelf of Bourbon from all over the globe. Take my advise, order some desert and enjoy the night at this perfect spot.Damn that was good. Thanks guys!
I have consistently been told that it's very hard finding good food in Nevada. I randomly chose B&B from Google because of it's close proximity to where I was staying. Although I drove past it quite a few times(it's not visiblely obvious to the eye fromthe street, better signage could help this), it was the BEST move to make that day! The food was absolutely amazing (and I meanit)! I was extremely impressed and the bartender knew that I would be as she nodded in agreement with me as my eyes widenedwhile bitting into my burger. In addition; behind the bar, is a large window, with a beautiful view of cascading mountains.Couple this with a nice glass of wine and I couldn't have thought of a better way to conclude my day. I'm looking forward toreturning.
So glad we found this spot! They have great happy hour deals on their Small Plates section. We ordered a little of everything and nothing disappointed. We had the smoked wings, candied pork belly, country poutine, loaded baked potato, BBQ baked beans anda couple of biscuits. We shared everything family style and had leftovers to take home. Unfortunately, I didn 't snap a pictureof the biscuits before they were devoured, but they 're awesome. They also have a wide variety of jams and honey we had themango habanero jam and orange peel honey, both tasty.
I had the brisket by the pound and seasoned fries. The brisket was very tender and the fries were well seasoned. I also ordered their biscuits, the smallest order is 3 biscuits so I ordered that. They have a selection of jellies you can choose from, but itan additional charge. I tried the apple bacon one, but I actually liked their whipped butter better. I also asked for breadfor my brisket. They will provide toast but they don't toast it with butter, so that was not my favorite. My friend ordered aBLT with seasoned fries and she liked hers. If you are not familiar with the water district area it can be confusing on how toget in. They do have a sign located towards the top of the building. I think I passed it a least twice. You have to park inthe back of the restaurant or on the street, the parking is free. I parked in the back of the restaurant, so then I walkedaround to the front. Also, they serve breakfast, but I believe the times on Google may be in correct. My GPS was telling methat they didn't open until 11. So heads up on that. The staff was friendly and the establishment was cleaned. Theestablishment is just the right size and they have a bar inside as well.
