Order at the counter and then find a seat. I visited on a Sunday evening, and it wasn't too crowded. The service was great. As for the food, I tried the Tonkotsu Ramen and the Huli Huli Chicken. The Huli Huli Chicken was just okay—it wasn't quite what I expected. However, the Ramen was fantastic! The broth was both salty and smooth. I do wish the noodles had a bit more bite to them, though. What Aaro Pohtamo doesn't like about 8 Kitchen:
This place was kind of a disappointment. I had higher hopes. The Mac salad was unseasoned and was bland. Didn't even finish it. I ordered the Korean Fries (bulgogi beef). The pickled slaw was overwhelming all the other flavors, all I could taste was vinegar. I had to remove it from the bowl. I won't be coming back. Friends ordered the chicken ramen and Pork ramen and both said that their bowls were a bit under season... View all feedback.
This restaurant was quite nice. The customer service was excellent, and the food was enjoyable. However, I did find the prices to be a bit higher than I expected. Perhaps it's just because I'm not accustomed to spending around $20 for a Po-boy, even if it's packed with ingredients.
The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding with generous portion sizes! It's always a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended!
The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with good lighting, making it feel like a hidden gem in Henderson. However, the prices were on the higher side for what was offered. The wagyu meat donburi was underwhelming and certainly not worth the $17 price tag. The loco moco was decent, but it really shone when paired with the fried rice! To be honest, I would just stick to the loco moco with the roasted rice, which costs about $22. While it was tasty, I’m not sure I’d return just to spend that amount again—I’ve had better experiences elsewhere, although it wasn’t bad. The service, however, was friendly!
Man. what a jewel google led us to dinner last night! they go in, order at the counter and sit on a table where they bring their drinks and eat to them. from what I understand, the room itself serves as a test kitchen for other restaurants or group eateries there were three different menus to order from: Japanese ramen, hawaiian, and a modern Asian/American fusion. we ordered maison tea (thai tee w/ cream,) crispy garnelen bao, short rib bao (fried,) a furikake shrimp puzzle, truffle friries, and loco moco rice bowl. everything was so good. we can't wait to go back and try more!
