Treasured Grounds - Hemingford
Treasured Grounds
Description
Nestled in a small village, this restaurant offers a blend of flavors and community charm, though opinions on its value and quality are varied. Guests have praised the delicious meals, friendly service, and local product partnerships. However, some diners express disappointment with portion sizes and seasoning, particularly noting the overly salty prime rib. While breakfast offerings and coffee receive accolades, others feel the overall value does not meet expectations. Ultimately, patrons appreciate the inviting atmosphere and reasonable prices, hoping for improvements that could elevate their dining experiences in the future.

It seems to me that many reviewers here say things that are not exactly true because of that small village Don't ruin our reputation mindset, and for that people are willing to lie, or at the very least allow themselves to be deceived. That one gets lots of food for the price here is a joke, or else they don't get out that much to experience what a lot for the money means at restaurants. Many 70 and 80 year old Hemingford elders will quietly confide that you really don't get that much for what you pay for here. In all fairness, the food IS pretty decent as is their excellent coffee, having eaten breakfast here 4 times, though each time I was disappointed with the amount of food received compared to what it cost. I'll stick to making my own eggs, taters, and toast at home for a buck.

We stopped here for lunch and it was great! We had salads and split the chicken barbecue wrap. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. If I ever pass that way again I hope to go back.
