Ravintola Kannas - Helsinki

Found a restaurant until midnight in a city where seemingly most institutions too early (for my own personal taste, they think. the personal was cordial and professional, the menu was varied and allowed for a taste of the local flavor while it was pleasantly filled. the prices correspond to the average local lists, but are not too expensive.

Great family run restaurantthat serves classic Finnish dishes. The food was delicious the flavours new and interesting. Delightfully relaxed atmosphere makes this a must visit in Helsinki

I ordered the salmon soup and fish plate, both of which were small portions. However, I had a wonderful dining experience with great service. The woman who served us was very friendly and eager as she took our orders. Our group of 7 arrived around 5:45 PM and did not have to wait long for our food. A friend ordered the pork shank and it was excellent! I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes and will definitely come back to try other dishes. The dessert in the photo is the squeaky cheese with cloudberry jam - a must-try when in Finland.

I was hesitant to visit this restaurant, located next to my place, but after hearing rave reviews, I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed! The staff was incredibly friendly and I would return just for their exceptional service. The food was also delicious and we savored every bite. I highly recommend trying the salmon soup and the veggie patty meal. The bread they serve is also top-notch.

The steak at this restaurant is fantastic, even better than I had imagined. The ambiance is very calming and the staff were extremely friendly. Although some of the steaks were hidden in my picture, there was still a generous portion. I will definitely be returning.
