Ølhus Stockholm - Helsinki

The bar has good selection of beer; not outstanding but I got to try a few interesting ones while there. : I was there mid week afternoon and then the service was really good; I got suggestions and could discuss with the bartender. I can imagine it gets a bit crowded during evenings, though, as the place is quite small...

The staff was very nice but the doorman was rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. He actually told us not to sit comfortable on the bench. This place seems very easygoing... at least we tought so... I feel bad because otherwise the place seemed nice and had good selection of quality beers.

This used to be dark Czech pub called Hostina. I didn’t like that place that much. Now it’s a bit brighter but still quite small. At least on last Friday night it was too crowded to be enjoyable. Big Nordic breweries on taps. The new name Ølhus Stockholm is beyond my comprehension. Is it kind of witty mixture of Danish/Norwegian/Swedish? But I like the idea of Nordic pub in Helsinki. I also would like to taste their pølser.

Ölhus is Swedish and means Beer House and that is correct here. Large selection of beers in tabs and bottles and also many many other drinks from ciders to liquers. Friendly service, good location and seemed to be popular place after work day. So nothing to complain about, good place for a pint!

My first visit to the Olhus Stockholm. The place cozy has an interesting beer menu. For a weissbier fan it has several nice choices, like Gotlands Bryggeri Wisby Weisse and NØgne Wit . Also small snack are available. Staff was really friendly and helpful.
