It was very good. I was told since it was the night before a national holiday that it was a fixed menu. Overall the food was good and they had decent wine pairing recommendations. I enjoyed the appetizer more than the main dishes however
Considering how much how much you have to book this venue in advance, I was anticipating this so much as we went for a family reunion here on a wintery afternoon. I was firstly impressed by the friendly yet humble service by this place. The only downfall O saw by my first impression was how small an casual the atmosphere was. The red brick walls and standard paintings with subtle furniture made it cozy. Therefore I was expecting the food to make me jump from my chair. The menu is flexible in terms of allergies. The food however was well prepared with fresh and local ingredients. It has apparently become a trend to embrace 'nordic roots ' within local restaurant culture here. And this place was truly the epitome of the movement. Roast lean cut pieces with minced vegetables and experimental sauce was my favourite dish. Also the dessert of a petite créme doughnut in berry sauce was impressive but nothing super special. The food with its ingredients and flavours was on point. However it could have been a little bit more experimental for my taste buds. Considering how hyped this venue is for local food enthusiasts and within media and how much in advance you have to make a reservation, I expected a bit more in terms of a dining experience. Worth trying if you want to add a bullet tour belt with local restaurants.
