This restaurant is unusual but fantastic. The decor is eclectic with no consistent theme, but the art really ties everything together. The pizza is delicious and the Indian food is the best in Helsinki, even my Indian friends agree. View all feedback.
What CareyH doesn't like about Mr. Don Cafe, Bar Restaurant:
Went into this restaurant to pass an hour or so waiting for nearby Rock Church to open. Was a Sunday afternoon when most other eateries were closed so this might explain the lacklustre service, ambience and quality of food. The restaurant seemed to be being manned by one person who was barman, waiter and possibly chef. Only ventured to a cheese toastie so can’t comment on the more traditional Indian dishes. I've been here four times. it is a dingy bar sorta place, but eating is excellent. I have eaten in about 10 Indian nepali restaurants throughout Finland, and this is in top 2. it could even be best, I'm just not the kind of person that would make such a crash instruction.

Nice restaurant to go for after work drink or meal. Atmosphere is relaxed but volume of noise reasonable for people talk to each other. There is a good menu and food and meals available. Big screens show international sports events. There also is a cubicle for smokers.
