Hima Sali - Helsinki

Hima Sali is a lovely restaurant that complements the style and atmosphere of Kaapelithedas perfectly. The warm wooden chairs and tables add to the coziness of the place.

The main reason I go to Heaven Sali is for their wok buffet. You choose your preferred vegetables and meats, they place it on a plate and hand it over to the chef.

After seeing that this place had a two-star average rating, I felt compelled to write a review. While this may not be the best choice for vegans, I have eaten here a few times and have found that their lunch soup is usually vegan. If you visit outside of lunch hours, be sure to ask for vegan options. They often have a tasty vegan feta spinach pie in the freezer that I enjoy.

The first time I visited this restaurant was during lunch and it was very busy, with no available seating. I ended up getting my meal to go, which was the vegan meal of the day - falafel with rice. It resembled a prepackaged microwave meal from the grocery store, but tasted decent. The second time I went was in the evening and only the bar side was open, suggesting that meals are only served during lunch hours.

On my second visit, I went at night and found that only the bar side of the restaurant was open. It seems they only serve meals during lunchtime.
