Espresso House Citycenter - Helsinki

Nice place for a coffee and snacks in a central location. I have been here a few times and i like it. It can get quite busy but i have always found a table. The coffee is good and the snacks are also good. There are many pastries to choose from and they are not too expensive.

Crowded bustling location for the prolific coffee house chain. There are plenty of Espresso House locations dotted around Helsinki, but if you're going to one (and you should! this one is in my opinion the prettiest, although it's a tough competition. The cinnamon roll pastry was top notch.

We had to wait for a friend and this was the easiest and most central spot to be found : . It was very busy and a long queue for ordering at the counter. Restaurant looked lovely and seemed poitkaisen worth a happy friendly crowd. No receipt was issued and so after waiting for my coffee and tea for quite some time it turned out the order may not have been there/ correct. The person waiting next to me got a wrong drink and instead of just correcting the mistake he was told to see the teller to correct the difference in price (minimal . Not a smooth operation. There was still ample seating in the restaurant so it wasn't even running at full capacity but it took me 20 minutes just to get a coffee and tea. The chocolate croissant was nice but nothing special and the coffee and tea prices for a basic beverage seemed high to me.... but anyways, you are in the big city here and things are different from the country and suburbs.

It was bit crowdy but obviously everyone in citycenter loves to visit and do study work. For sitting they should through some more couches in. I ordered Mud cake and Cheese cake it was good but doesnt taste like OMG I would say 4 out of 5. But I think cheese cake without strawberry sauce would be better.
