What Sandra V doesn't like about Cafe Torpanranta:
Great location, love the inside ambience, and the salmon soup was decent. Generous portion and good value! However, was deeply disappointed in the hot cocoa which tasted like Nestle packs with some hot water (but diluted and with tons of sugar added) with a processed whipped cream on top. Our favourite café in helsinki. good selection of food and drinks. a lot of sitting area especially outside. beautiful atmosphere and salat is delicious. even good bee dogs are welcome.
Breathtaking view and great coffee. it was fascinating to see all age groups at the weekend of the native helsinkis.
This caffe has a great view of the sea and a small beach. great outdoor seat for a sunny warm day. but not many of them in helsinki. I went in today without order. while they have an salatable, today it was mostly fish and gluten. this would be good if they are a vegetarian, can eat gluten and milk as there were many milk options. I had to go.
Lovely located cafe, with drinks, salads and sandwiches. Reasonably crowded in the summer and not the cheapest cafe, but still well worth a visit if you are in the area. Take a walk around the old part of Munkkiniemi, it's a very nice area of Helsinki.
