We visited this place twice now and still planning on going there. The food is very food! We ordered a chicken plate (cannot remember the exact name, it has chicken filled with cheese, potatoes, vegetable and avocado highly recommend! and a fish plate. What we enjoyed the most is that the place has traditional tzatziki : a well known and appreciated dish from beautiful Greece! : The prices are a bit high, but once yo... View all feedback.
What Jukka S doesn't like about Persilja:
Pollo Fuego G, VL..16,00 € for saturday lunch was OK though lacking texture. My wife said her pizza Mare e monte 11,50 € was better than pizzas in Pappa pizza (Kivenlahti). Fresher and no greasy residue on tongue. We were happy there were no families with children though lots of toys seemed to be waiting for them. View all feedback.
We stumbled upon Persilja just trying to find a place to get out of the rain on a bike ride around Lauttensaari, would have been happy with almost anything, but instead we found that the place where we mostly sought shelter was in fact an excellent spot for lunch. My wife and I opted for the lunch buffet, which (in a generally expensive city for eating) has got to be one of the better deals in town, considering both price and quality. The salad offerings included really good hummus and a sort of muhammara but with bulgar grain instead of walnuts, perhaps? Delicious. Mains included a sort of chicken tikka masala, a tomato-y ground beef/cheese/vegetable concoction, an excellent ratatouille, and more. All very good, and all-you-can-eat. Our son went a la carte with a tuna pizza which got 2 thumbs up from him. Very friendly service, quiet laidback atmosphere in a mostly residential area. Worth a detour if you’re in this part of Helsinki.
Kind service, tasty food, reasonable pricing. Seems to be very popular at least around the lunch time. A warm recommendation.
Excellent visit in this cosy restaurant with really friendly staff! Sunday brunch was 30€ including prosecco, large antipasti buffet, a warm main dish of your choice, dessert cakes, coffee and tea. Got also a special pannacotta when the staff realized I could not eat the cakes
First visit (by chance) with friends was ok don't go with high expectations. Service was friendly and ouzo left for us
Mediterranian inspired menu. Buffet-type serving. Delicious courses. Medium priced. Recommended. Very friendly personnel.
