A charming courtyard wine bar in Helotes pairs an enormous wine selection with tapas, charcuterie and flatbreads in a cozy, tree-canopied outdoor setting. Attentive staff, immaculate glassware, live acoustic music and half-price bottle Wednesdays make it a favorite for families, groups and date nights. Generous shareable plates and late hours complement nearby shops and a brewery. Occasional loud music and limited table-water service in hot weather are minor drawbacks to an otherwise delightful, convivial spot.

What a delightful and cozy spot! We visit at least once a month with family and friends to enjoy each other's company, sip on some wine, and savor the delicious food :) The service is excellent too! View all feedback.

Chilled German white wine, and an abundance of cheese! We tried the European tour for our tapas, and it was a delightful mix of spicy flavors. They have a great selection of wine and other tapas as well. I can't wait to return soon and make it a regular spot. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing—absolutely charming!

The outdoor setting under a canopy of trees is lovely, with plenty of nearby options for food and drinks. Since I'm not much of a wine drinker, I was pleased to discover a refreshing alternative on the menu called pink tonic, which was delicious. I’d rate this place 4 stars, but I have to mention that with the Texas heat, they really need to improve their water service. While they bring you wine, for water you have to walk to a large outdoor dispenser and fill a tiny paper cup. If you’re drinking, you definitely need more water than those small cups provide. I ended up using a wine glass to fill with water to stay hydrated in the heat.

Great, relaxing, outdoor location. Acoustic musicians complement the calm atmosphere. Filling appetizers should you need a bite to satisfy your hunger, but do not expect to collect full intestine meals. We like to come here.

My wife and I enjoyed drinking and eating at Wine 101. The atmosphere is fantastic and the live music really added a pleasant vibe.
