Busted Sandal Beer Garden - Helotes

Busted sandal was a bit hidden away in the shops at Old Town Helotes, but in building #5 we got a 9 beer sampler for $20 and enjoyed tasting nearly all of their offerings. Lots of good outdoor space and tasty beer (especially loved the 210 watermelon beer and tripel).

Still one of our favorite breweries; just in a new (to us) location. We went on a Sunday and got there just as it opened. This Old Town Helotes location is really cool with all the outdoor seating. The man on deck for the day was Adrian. We sat at the bar and because it wasn?t busy yet, my wife and I got to nerd out with him over beer, travel and 90?s music. This location is by far my favorite place in the area. Outdoor seating is always intimate and relaxed. Food and ice cream right across the courtyard. Regular live music and half-off drafts on Wednesdays if you buy their glass. What's not to love? I'm almost hesitant to give away my secret, but this place deserves attention.

Fun visit to the tap room in Old Town Helotes this weekend. The bartender was very friendly and came out to our table to see if we needed another beer. There is plenty of outdoor seating and the wine and coffee available at the shops next door are great for anyone in your group that doesn?t drink beer. A perfect spot for a drink in a relaxing atmosphere.

Very cozy. We tried the watermelon beer..you must try it!! The beer was nice and cold!!
