We got the v... read more We were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant with vegan options in this very small town. It made for a perfect stop between Vik and Reykjavik. We got the vegan burgers which are beyond burgers but they prepared them very nicely. It is around ~3000isk for a burger, but that’s ok considering we were desperate for a place on our long drive haha. The restaurant is inside a hotel. Updated from previous review on 2024-05-10

I... read more It's hard to find good vegan food outside Reykjavik, that's also open most days of the week. We were lucky to find this one so close to where we were staying. It's the restaurant of the hotel, and it's clean, has a good atmosphere, and the food tastes great. It was prepared with attention, and not just as an afterthought as some places do with their vegan options. I had the vegan Wellington, just after Christmas, and the taste and look were great.
