Holyharbour Cafe & Grill

Whilst staying at the Brettenbude Hotel we skipped across the promenade and ended up having dinner at the Holyharbour restaurant. Both my wife and I decide to have fish for dinner since we were next to the sea, and it was a very nice meal. The fish was perfectly cooked, the food was ample and the service fantastic. We will come back here.

All the members of staff were very welcoming and the interior of the restaurant took us to New England! As a gluten free vegetarian it was grand to see all the allergens on the menu and made choosing very easy. Portions were big and the food delicious. Very good value for money.

Although inside a big hotel, at lunch the choice is between pasta, pasta or pasta. And even then, the pasta was over cooked and the salmon bone dry. Service was friendly and the view and atmosphere really nice.

And a beautiful location! We stopped at this nice looking place right at the beach with a beautiful view. We liked the mix of layed back elegance the restaurant has. The food was very nice, we tried both Caesar salad, meat and salmon. It all tasted very good and the service was excellent and accommodating. Prices perhaps a bit above average but we were happy to pay it considering the location and how well the place is kept.

We went for breakfast with our family with 2 kids. When the sun was shining we sat outside with a great view to the see... later inside we still had the amazing view... and had a great time!!! For breakfast you get everything you wish, English breakfast, muesli and lots of fruits or even continental breakfast... you can't ask for more and it is really worth the price of 15 Euro/person... In general: even though the beach hotel and this restaurant looks a bit snobby, it is not! Staff is very friendly and very flexible for everything. Even extra wishes are possible ... and particularly for us important: kids are welcome!!! Thank you for this great time!
