Anno 1800 - Heiligenhafen

Very delicious food, super friendly service, great premises, dogs are most welcome and locals have been seen here. We were 3x for dinner from our 7 days.

Nice place Had dinner and had a nice table outside, with a lovely view. Had carpaccio and the mussels for starter, that was not so impressing, capacious was a bit “watery/bland” mussels did not taste so much. but the schnitzel was good.

We came across this restaurant by chance and it was a lovely experience. The exterior of the building is beautiful and the interior is warm and cosy. We had the onion soup to start which was delicious, followed by schnitzel and plaice for main courses. Both were very tasty and were huge portions! After a day of walking this was just what we needed! A great selection of wines and beers. The food menu is traditionallyGerman and hearty. The owners were very friendly and accommodating to us! We definitely recommend this restaurant on a cold winter's evening!

The homepage said: open to 23.30. We were 6 persons that arrived at 21.30 and were very hungry. When we asked for a table we got the reply: Kitchen is closed. I referred to the homepage about 23.30 but got a tosh reply. We don’t recommend this restaurant.
