Waldgaststatte Jagerhaus - Heilbronn

We were spontaneously eating with 5 people today. service was courtesy and competent in the consulting. Despite that the restaurant was full, we would be served timely. food was delicious and freshly prepared,all in all good price ratio.

The Jägerhaus is an old and established restaurant; i went there already with my grandparents, half a century ago. Its location is superb, above Heilbronn, located in the forrest, ideal for walks on Waldheide or the forrest. But the food is really only average; maybe that has changed meanwhile, a new management was announced recently.

That was also the only deficiency.We often hike from weinsberg to the JÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄgerhaus.Even only to pee on the perfectly clean wcs or to vespern, ....

We were a group in the forest restaurant hunting house. but unfortunately we were not satisfied. our bus had unfortunately due to accident and stow a late, so we couldn't be there at the time we had. the service was unfortunately very unfriendly. they were placed on the table and immediately taken away without ever having to eat and drink. you were asked to pay by a very bad ton of service. the question whether you can pay with card has been answered very plump with "no, that is not possible". the beverages then came in plastic bottles - very sweet presented. by the fact that our foods have already been selected and ordered in the restaurant, eating came very quickly. the food was in itself ok, but very small portions with little supplements. to a carving was not even an salate - let alone a small salad set on the plate. After we were back home, I looked at the menu online. here I noticed that as a group we had to pay a more expensive price than was written on the menu online. for a group of approx. 200 people make 70 cent price difference already something.

A walk led us past the restaurant. the beautiful location in the forest in combination with the beer garden led us to take a break there. we ordered a spatula cream soup and a spatula (saving gel in a pancake and sink rolled) plus drinks. the courts came very fast. due to the many seats, it is assumed that the kitchen is set to large groups and can accordingly deliver quickly. the food was perfect for a restaurant, the price in order and the service on zack; therefore full score.
