I would like to report just as much, if not better, about our visit to this unique restaurant. I have to admit that when I was offered the chance to go, I was very curious. However, I went there with absolutely no expectations. It was such a wonderful evening that I look back on so fondly! We called shortly beforehand and got a table for two. When we arrived there, we were greeted with a smile and a very warm welcome. Even this is not something that can be taken for granted these days and unfortunately in many restaurants you tend to be “handled over”. But not at Thamarai! : The menu is very manageable, which is a good sign for me personally. There is still a lot to choose from and there is also something for vegetarians/vegans (and it is also marked on the menu, as is the level of spiciness of the dishes . We ordered the drinks and food and first examined everything around us. How do you say so beautifully? Arrive first, right? The restaurant is very stylishly decorated, the music plays very pleasantly in the background, so you can still have a pleasant conversation. Each table is lit separately, creating a very pleasant, non-intrusive atmosphere. You can see the street directly from the window, but it is so insulated that you can't even hear it from inside. After ordering, both the drinks and the food didn't take long to arrive. The service was second to none and every single question was addressed. The food (we had the chicken spring rolls, lamb and eggplant, of course with garlic bread: and the mango dessert was great in terms of taste! One of the things we noticed was that the cutlery was very high quality. Another plus point! What we also noticed was the attentiveness of the service staff. We ordered dishes with a side of rice and of course our dishes came with a bowl of wonderfully fragrant rice. But when we ran out of rice and were still eating, new rice was brought to us before we even asked for it ourselves. We found this to be very attentive and appreciative. I could go on forever...it was just a wonderful experience and I'm really looking forward to going again soon! Many thanks to the whole Thamarai team you made the evening unforgettable.
