The good quality of the food and the high friendliness of the staff has not changed compared to the predecessor. Prices remain reasonable. It's just a pity that it remained on the beer in the mainstream. Unfortunately (subjective) there is no dark beer. That's why 1 star trigger.

In the middle of the week it was packed with locals (which was a good sign! and they did their best to squeeze me and my colleague in. We had amazing dinner and warm, truly friendly service. The place was clean and everything went smoothly. 2/3 of staff were super friendly and we really appreciated their effort during the whole evening. If I ever visit Heilbronn again, there’s no need to think about where to have lunch or late dinner Backstüble it is!!

The cook there prep... read more Today, March 30, 2025, we were guests in a remarkably beautiful restaurant. The boss and her crew convey a hospitality that is rarely found. The cook there prepares wonderful dishes: fresh salads with the finest cuts and a gentle dressing that dances on the tongue. Schnitzel perfectly breaded, precisely cut and fried in the pan. Sauces made from the roasted parts of the roast and by no means from any bag. Housewife style spaetzle. That tasted so divine! If I lived there opposite, I would lose a battle against my scales.
