We even had the chance to chat with the owner, who is currently remodeling the place. The interior is stunning, and he is also working on the exterior. It's truly a hidden gem, and we can't wait to return!

The appetizers took about 35 minutes to arrive, which felt a bit excessi... read more My girlfriend and I dined there this evening and ordered appetizers, burgers, and beer. The appetizers took about 35 minutes to arrive, which felt a bit excessive for fried food. While the apps were delicious, we were left waiting quite a while for refills on our drinks. After finishing our appetizers, we were asked if we wanted dessert, and we had to inquire about the status of our burgers. They finally arrived about an hour after we placed our order. My girlfriend's burger was decent, but mine was served rare, with the center still cold. I did notice that if you're in the higher social circles of the Hegins Valley or nearby areas, your food seems to come out much faster. For example, the couple next to us ordered just five minutes before we received our appetizers and were already enjoying dessert by the time we got our burgers. When it was time for the check, I expected it to be pricey given the appetizers and beer, but the service felt lacking—almost as if they didn’t even put in any effort for our tip. Overall, we won’t be returning anytime soon.
