Surely there are Jack's restaurants all over the South, but until you eat on one in Heflin you can't imagine the difference between Jack's employees cooking for only one job, and those who work because they LOVE their customers. The Heflin Jack is even our pick-over Huddle House or cracker barrel. And if you are hot in summer, you can pass for a delicious REAL handcooped ice cream or milkshake as we could do 40 years... Waiting in the ride wait 25 minutes and still not receiving my entire order and had to wait for another 20 minutes just to get the rest of my order. In the end I was just frustrated away and without food I had already paid. Light service View all feedback.
The checkout was super friendly! I live in Georgia, so I always love to visit Jacks when I am in Alabama. The food was just as good as my last visit to another place. Fries Sandwich was so hot that I had to cool it before eating. It was such a wonderful wait. I will definitely go away for 2 hours, just for my childhood adulthood fave!
Ok...I have a problem here. Now don't get me wrong, I Love me some chicken, especially Jack's Chicken. But what the heck is wrong with the Jack's in Tallapoosa??? Went in there at 8:45 pm on any night, they have no chicken!! Wings and thighs only...maybe!! Crazy!! So forget about getting out of church around 8:30pm on Wednesday and want a chicken leg or breast. Ain't gonna happen. Alright Jack's, y'all gotta do better than this!! Just saying!!
Typical fast food. Employees were not impressive. Daughter liked her burger. Glad they were available for a quick travel meal.
Clean and efficient store, friendly staff. I have a strong inner fat kid so the burgers just don't cut it, they're good but small. Go for the chicken sandwiches or tenders. Good quality chicken and large enough to get the job done.
I had a sweet tooth stopped by the drive-thru around 9:40 to get a late night treat. There were so many different types of ice creams, I decided to go in. The restaurant was empty and the floors were still damp from being mopped, but caution wet floor signs were up. The restaurant was closing at 10:00. The cashier was most helpful in describing the types of deserts even brought to my attention a delicious new cherry, cream cheese pie, which was outstanding. I haven't been to a Jack's in years, but the menu looked great and I may go back for a lunch combo.
