We booked this hotel via Groupon. It seems that there are mainly bus companies where 50 significantly lower the average age. One decided to appeal to younger audiences for which Groupon Co is a good idea. But if someone gets sniffed out of the new target group, it should also have the expected smell, otherwise something goes backwards. Unfortunately, this has been the case. Before the arrival we had a few doubts, because there had already been several meckers on the relevant portals. For example, it was complained that a special room was very loud, because very early in the morning the kitchen was supplied and correspondingly loudly polished. Another commentator spoke of rain traffic on the street where the hotel is located. Since the corresponding room numbers were mentioned, we mentioned this with an eye-catcher at the check-in and received an answer that we already perceived as being quite papal. From a two-star hotel you don't expect the world, but a muffled radiator in the bathroom is quite obvious. In addition, the overall cleaning should have been a bit more thorough. Renovated is most likely in the 90s and the style also reminds quite of this time. There is Wi-Fi in the hotel, which was not accessible for most of the time. If so, it was pretty slow, so we left it at some point. Also quite stupid, because you like to prepare yourself for things at the hotel and, for example, invite hiking maps etc. to the phone to not consume the precious LTE volumes of flatrate. Of course, this will not interfere with the coffee travel audience, but as mentioned very well the one that looks around and tries on offers such as Groupon. We didn't go to the area to stay at the hotel, so it was important for us to stay there and have a good breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately, the smiling bed curse ensured that the buffet had been cut off more or less shortly before 9. Even when we were there earlier, there were only the normal rolls, which were also a bit dry and a small selection of paints, muesli etc. Here too, we didn't expect anything special, but I wouldn't call a bit of change especially, even if the hotel also has a restaurant. We also found quite misleading advertising with the Lüneburger Heide, because it is more than an hour away by car. Worth seeing is the nearby Bourtange on the Dutch side, where fortunately there was a Medieval Festival at the time of our visit. Papenburg can also be seen, but for active holidaymakers it would be more interesting for cyclists. We've been a little longer by car every day.

Good German cuisine. Nice service. We were here for the second time yesterday. You put value on quality. Without snorkels.

Small, simple and quiet hotel. The room was clean and the beds were good. You want to sleep too! We had a spacious room where you could really feel comfortable. What you needed was there. That's really good. Ask for the yogurt bomb as a dessert. The service was also absolutely ok.

A nice little hotel. Friendly staff, super delicious food, room clean and spacious. We booked a 3-day stay on short vacation. de with 3courses menu, candlelight dinner and breakfast incl. There was a lot of trouble, it was very nice dressed, eating just good. Can we just recommend?
