After a disappointing visit to a nearby winery (and yes, I spelled that intentionally), we were delighted to find this gem. The beers were outstanding, and the pizza was just as impressive. Our group of five couples received a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Even though it was late in the season, we asked to sit on the deck on a beautiful sunny November day. While outdoor seating usually isn’t available then, our server kindly made an exception for us. My wife and I shared the "all dressed" pizza with nine toppings, and it was fantastic—the crust, ingredients, and cooking were all top quality. It was impressive how quickly four large, hot, and fresh pizzas arrived at our table. Everyone enjoyed their beers, proving they really know their craft. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. I highly recommend this spot for outstanding pizza, beer, or both!

The music o... read more The garlic cheese pizza was the best I've ever had—perfect crust and not greasy at all. Even though we arrived at 9 PM, they welcomed us graciously. The music on the lawn was fantastic and continued throughout our visit. There were also a couple of cornhole games set up on the lawn to enjoy. I would highly recommend this place.

Our server, Deanna, made our lunch incredibly enjoyable by offering us samples of several different tap beers. The calzone we ordered was enormous, enough to feed four people, and the personal pan pizzas were a generous size at 12 inches in diameter. The brewery boasts a lovely view of the lake, providing beautiful scenery that adds to the ambiance. It's the ideal place to unwind with a beer and savor delicious food. If you're in Watkins Glen, you definitely need to visit this spot!

Our server, Deanna, who seemed to juggle multiple roles as bartender, hostess, and server for several tables, was incredibly friendly. While we initially came for the food, we were also impressed by their beer selection. I opted for hard cider and was pleased to see a variety of canned options available. Both my fiancé and I ordered calzones; he went with bacon while I added feta, anchovies, and meatballs to mine. The portions were large and absolutely delicious (as shown in the photos)! Enjoying the warm November weather, we chose to sit on the deck, where we took in the stunning view (as seen in another photo). The cider gave me a pleasant buzz that faded before we headed back to Watkins Glen. We will definitely be back next time we are vacationing in the area!

We visited Scale House to conclude our tour of the area with dinner, and it was a fantastic choice. The beers were refreshing, and the food provided a wonderful finish to our day. Our server, Steve, was exceptional. Additionally, Scale House stays open later than most places in the area, making it the ideal final stop. Highly recommended!
