Butterball's
Description
Tucked in Hebron, Greenleaf is a rustic, crowd-pleasing bar-diner hybrid famed for meaty, spicy buffalo wings, hearty comfort plates and lively Friday live music. The spacious, clean interior—with pool tables, TVs, dance floor and ample parking—draws an eclectic local crowd and friendly staff. Prices are generally reasonable, though occasional long to-go waits, inconsistent drink pricing, and an early kitchen closing can catch newcomers. A laid-back, people-watching spot ideal for wing lovers, music fans and casual nights out.

This is a live review while here at Greeleaf Cafe. This is a rustic local restaurant/bar in Hebron, CT. Definatley an eclectic mix of locals from couples to drinking buddies. Lots of TVS for sports watching. We ordered wings, chicken tenders, fish and chips and the NY sirloin. Will let you know how the food is. Wings are very meaty and outside have a good crunch. Mouth has a great tingle after eating almost a dozen. Tenders were tender on inside and crunchy outside. Steak was cooked just right and had good flavor. Came with standard mash potatoes and mixed veggies. Fish was crisp and flaky inside. Overall a really good meal and nice service. Definatley a blue collar hard working persons place, laid back and some free flowing adult language, but don't let that diswade you from dining here. It's worth it. Reasonable prices.
What a weird little out of the way place. Got dragged here for a friends birthday. There isn 't another drinking establishment around for miles, so the eclectic mix of people here makes quite the scene for people watching. Prices are average but inconsistent depending on which bartender you get, $30 for a beer, a mixed drink 4 shots. I had a drunk girl come up to me and ask if I had to use the bathroom, then she pointed, It 's over there . Like a female version of McLovin telling me what time it was... strange... At any rate, had a good time, take note the kitchen closes at 9:45, and there isn 't much else around to eat.
I went in to pick up a to-go order. It's a charming little restaurant, and surprisingly busy for a Thursday at 4:00 PM. I waited while enjoying a drink, but the food took quite a long time to be ready. While I understand it was a to-go order, the food was just average. I would consider going back to dine in and give it another chance.
The food is great, the drinks are strong and the staff is so nice and inviting. I highly suggest!!
