West Tradies Bistro - HEBERSHAM

The menu is very good and a large range to choose from. I had a steak which was good to perfection, They have many types of meals and all at a good price.

We went to West Tradies tonight for my Dads birthday and did not expect much after I have read the other review on here but we were so pleasantly surprised! It was really nice, friendly and fast service. Great prices. Clean and pleasant. We had a really great night and even the 2 and 4 year old enjoyed it as they have a little games section where they played on the cars and played some air hokey. We will definitely go there again! :-)

We visited as a family. Kids aged 9 years and twins 6 years ordered spaghetti. They were horrified when it came out in a baby plate and all the ingredients were separate. Staff could not understand when I asked for a bowl so it could be all mixed together. I ordered a Chinese omelette. As I went to take the first mouthful I found a very large black hair in it. My husband ordered a Laksa the whole top was covered with very thick chilli oil. Yes it should have chilli oil not to the extent of this. Both meals were returned. This used to be a great place to eat. But since it has changed hands it is terrible. The staff also need to use the technology. They still do hand dockets and then put it thru the register. The register prints out what you have ordered so why not just print two. One for customer and one for kitchen. It takes forever just to place your order as they are so slow.

I ordered a Beef Chow Mein with Crispy Noodles for lunch, I must admit they could have served some fried rice with the meal with the cost. I found the meal was nice but it was not plentiful, seemed to be like a small serving ... I walked away feeling hungry still. Even though this Bistro is under new management ... the bistro can improve to be better.
