The friendly and welcoming staff served a delicious cooked breakfast in a lovely setting. The atmosphere was enjoyable, and the food was great. The lunch menu also caught my eye with its clever wordplay. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hebden Sarnies:
The sign outside claims “real good sandwiches,” and that couldn’t be more accurate! We ordered the tofu wrap, which turned out to be raw tofu in a panini slathered with too much sweet chili sauce; it was inedible. The nasalat (which only came with one of the orders) was also disappointing. We won’t be returning. View all feedback.
Impressive vegan options (including 3 vegan cakes), but it is very expensive for what not good quality, homemade foods. We could see that the soup comes from a massive tub and was placed in the microwave and was completely dirty. Nevertheless, the service was extremely slow.
So Smokey inside was about to order but was choking up just been sat inside
Had a cheesy pesto toastie with some chips and a berry smoothie! All very tasty though I would say that some more ‘chunky chips’ would suit the style of food better than fries. Perhaps that’s just personal taste though. The smoothie was my favourite part I think!!!
The staff member was able to point out all of the vegan options to me and he was really friendly. The tofu scrambled wrap was not something I’d have usually thought of putting with sweet chilli sauce but it actually tasted so good together! There was also a vegan cake available. Vegan GF all clearly labelled. Updated from previous review on 2023-08-15
Fab little cafe, dog friendly and helpful staff. Good vegan and gluten free options, i adapted the scrambled tofu wrap so it was on gluten free toast instead
