The Oxtail Factory - Hearne

I don't usually give 5 stars, but this place is well-deserved and I post numerous reviews. Today I decided to try this place for lunch when I drove through Hearne. The outside looks like it's a former 7-11. Once you go into you, some of the nicest people will welcome you. The smell of food was amazing. I tried the oxtail, yams, cabbage and green beans. It was one of the best meals I ever had. Keep the good work and best wishes for the entire restaurant.

The food was so good! I had chicken and my husband had the Bratbeef. Both were so good! The brat was thick slices. I love the sweet potatoes! You can't buy them anywhere. I also had the Peach-Kobbler and it was the best ever! We both satisfied and filled! The ladies who immerse the food were quick and efficient. The line of people moved quickly. The bedroom was spacious and clean and well equipped. That's very appreciated when we're on the way. There were tablecloths on the tables that looked so beautiful. They had a role of nice paper towels on the tables, so I appreciate it because eating fried chicken can messy! So much better than a small rectangular napkin! I give this restaurant a 5 star!

Drove of Cameron to eat here, it was so worth the ride. The interior was impeccable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was AMAZING. If you want a great soul food, I highly recommend THE OXTAIL FACTORY.

My brother and I traveled to Hearne Tx a couple days ago to meet a few friends from Greenville Tx and Hearne was about half way for us. I looked up eating places and this place caught my eye sounded good. When we got there I wasn’t so sure from outside but we walked in and what a Fantastic friendly welcome and the aroma was awesome and made me hungrier than I was!! The Fried Chicken was so JUICY and tasty better than I’ve ever had and the Oxtail I’d never had but the server gave me a piece to try and oh WOW....wish I’d hinted for a taste before I got my chicken plate it was so tender like a great slow cooked pot roast with gravy and onions!! The sides were Awesome also mashed potatoes, green beans and greens with cabbage. The seasoning was Excellent!! If you want Southern Style Soul Food you need to visit this Friendly establishment if you are in are go through Hearne,Tx. Next time I’ll take a cooler and take some plates to go I wanted more but couldn’t eat more then the serving size was almost too much!!I will definitely stop in anytime I’m in that area if I could rate Higher than 5 they would be rated higher!!!!

U know the food is good. Too many people in line to be waited on. Prices a little high but the food is so worth it. The people are friendly n kind.
