It's off season and we were in a bi... read more We just stopped in for a quick lunch on our way from Fairbanks to Anchorage. We were treated so well and the food was great! It's off season and we were in a bit of a rush and they helped us get in and out quickly. We loved the French fries and everything else. I would definitely stop here anytime we come through.

Two of us, being vegan, had falafel sandwiches; the other person had a salmon sandwich. All the food was excellent. The waitress was friendly and engaging. A couple of the diners joined in the conversation. The whole thing was very delightful I felt like I was in an episode of the old show Northern Exposure. A nice place to stop for a bite to eat and a little conversation on a cold Alaskan day.

Soup was excellent, pasta was average. They are not open on Mondays and Tuesdays due to staffing, everything was fast when we went.
