Was Hiromi Tateishi at SingleThread a mag?
It's the best restaurant in the world! First of all, the first dish is art. It was too beautiful to eat. All the food was delicious, the service was attentive and we had a wonderful time. We were not able to reserve a room at the inn this timebecause it was full, but would love to stay here next time. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We hope to come back again. View all feedback.

This is an amazing experience. Incredible service and food. The menu was put together in a very thoughtful manner, the presentation, and information with each course made for a memorable experience. It's difficult to get reservations, you need todo so far in advance and compete with a website clicking war. I would suggest staying at the inn for an even better experienceand a better shot at securing a table as a dinner reservation comes with your room. Then, you can also benefit from their inroom breakfast if you've saved enough room. The breakfast is also terrific and thoughtfully put together. Be sure to add thisone to your bucket list!
From the moment the reservation was made to when my husband and I left SingleThread to go back to our hotel... Probably the best and most extravagant experience of my life. Definition of fine dining at it's very best...or perhaps whatever is better thanfine dining. Highly recommend. Certainly worth a trip to Healdsburg just to dine here. Beyond fantastic.
This was an experience like no other! It was an expensive dinner, but it was worth every dollar. The entire staff was friendly and attentive without being pushy or overbearing. The food and presentation were out of this world and the wine pairings wereexpertly chosen. This was a once in a lifetime experience that I hope to experience again!
Above and beyond our expectations. Dishes here have deep, deep Japanese influence. Every course has great presentation and the flavor is top notch. Wine pairing is also spot on and pairs very well with dishes. The service can't be better and people aresuper friendly. This place is definitely worth a visit!

The best culinary experience we've ever had! I love floral designs, so I truly appreciate their artistic presentation of each dish. We already have a gift card and are eager to use it as soon as they open up again.
Simply spectacular... in the delivery of the courses we were always speechless. The artistry, quality and impeccable attention to detail are no second. The Wagyu, the Madai and the Nodoguro courses were particularly good. The printed menu and the peasant seeds are also a fantastic finish. We cannot wait to experience seasonal variations.
While it is on the pricier side, which is typical for Michael's restaurants, it was unquestionably the best meal I've had. I don't want to be harsh on other fine dining establishments, but the French Laundry often comes up in conversations about Yountville, and I must say that this restaurant outshines it in every way.
Delicious food. We tried both the vegetarian and meat menus and we very impressed. The plating was absolutely beautiful.
Words cannot adequately describe our experience here. Dined her for my birthday and the entire evening did not disappoint. The service, atmosphere and presentation went beyond our expectations. The food was delicious for the most part. Experimental at times but fun nonethless. If I could pick an area to improve on it would be the desserts. They were okay. We were pretty full by then so it could have had an impact. It was a very fun experience.
