I don’t even know where to start with Dunkin' Donuts. They couldn’t even take our order correctly—they literally lost half of it. Then they had to process multiple transactions and still got one of the drinks completely wrong. When a manager finally came over to address the situation, her solution? While customers were clearly unhappy and speaking to her, she decided to charge us an extra thirty-seven cents for the oat milk they had forgotten to include. As someone who works in the food industry, I can assure you that if kitchen or front-of-house staff make a mistake—not once, but twice—the customer should not have to pay for it. This entire Dunkin' Donuts experience was awful, and the blonde female manager definitely needs more training on how to handle these kinds of situations. My advice: only visit this Dunkin' if you’re absolutely desperate, as the menu here clearly isn’t handled with care.
The service at the drive-thru is usually fine, but the restroom—which is technically part of the gas station where Dunkin' Donuts is located—seems like it hasn’t been cleaned in ages. Yesterday, I went to place an order and ended up waiting for two minutes while the manager chatted with a friend or coworker behind the counter. Only when I turned to leave did she call someone to help at the front. I recently visited the Dunkin' in Wilkes-Barre, which was a much nicer location overall.
The coffee here is inconsistent. Sometimes it's overly sweet, other times it's served cold, and occasionally there are coffee grounds in the cup. It’s better to save your money and visit Starbucks down the road.
The consistency of their coffee leaves much to be desired. I usually order an iced macchiato, but I seldom get what I expect. I don’t plan on returning to that location in the future.
