This place is amazing. Wife and I have been here several times and are never disappointed. The menu is a surprise but a very good one. Everything is cooked fresh and has a wine pairing that easily complements each dish. Granted you get the daily special. Service is great. Your questions will be answered about the food and the wine. The best part is that they are expanding so more seating. The place is a bit small and will be sold out often times right when they make reservations available a month in advance..
Overall, it was cool .. but I'm basing my entire review on the price and what you get for the price. 8 guests and over 1100 dollars bill was a stretch for the experience, service, and food. Service honestly, the chef was bright and vibrant, very happy to be part of the experience. The staff seemed like they were not happy and didn't smile much, almost mad they had to work that day. When you spend the money like we did and the gratuity is already included at the end, and they asked for more, it's a slap to the face. I mean, is it that hard to smile and be pleasant and give customers the best experience ever as they are excited to have an experience and expecting top notch with the price. Food everything was cooked proper and tasted great, however at the end of the day I paid for 1egg and hasbrown , 1 chicken leg, a trey of bbq to share, and food colored pudding at the end. Seems like 75 plus tax title and license fee . Each person doesn't get much at all. Shout out to the chef for making good tasting food but slap in the face by frame for charging so much Experience couple awesome things put together for a Star Wars theme, but really, I've seen 16 year old rooms and basement game rooms look and feel much cooler. I paid an extra 110 bucks for a fee that goes towards this. Apparently, they didn't get my money. Staff wasn't wearing any star wars swag, really. Just kinda sub par decorations. On top of this, I mentioned it was my birthday, and I got nothing , no praise, no happy birthday, nothing at all. End notes I will never return for this experience. The price was over the top for a sub par Star wars themed event. Missing My birthday shoutout, all the extra fees venue fee of 110 already inluded 20 percent gratuity and asked for more low customer service experience equals bad money management on my part and a low blow by frame. This was an easy win for you . You dropped the ball, in my opinion. chef, if you read this, your food tasted great. It just wasn't worth the price for quantity. I would have taken that money and spent it on something else. Economy sucks this was a great chance to bring a cool event to the community and it seemed like a money grab for a theme everyone loves. Let's not talk about the awkward speech by both of the gms for frame either because it was cringe
Visited for the Hong Kong Tea Bar. I would say the food is about a 7.25/10. We had the saladff, sliders, Hong Kong noodles, pork shi and dessert Rangoons. Overall, I would say that the food wasn’t very balanced with flavor. The salad needed a sweet element to make it feel complete. The Hong Kong noodles were salty and needed some citrus to balance them out. The sliders were my favorite thing we ate. The buns were soft and fluffy and toppings complimented the meat appropriately. The pork was also overly salty and lacked flavor. The $6 rice was crunchy on the top and not very “steamy” which is wild. The Rangoons were solid and had a nice blueberry compote.
