Fish was bland and greasy chips paired well with the fish... bland and greasy only cans of Coke no cups no wells drinks only cans the bottles of spices, where sticky undoubtedly go out of the frits just in the grocery store and get some fish sticks and a bag of Orida Steak fries cook then dredge them in some cooking oil it will save you some money

Had a fabulous meal of fish chips today. Fish was fresh and beautifully broken. The whole meal tasted delicious! You order at the counter and bring your food to your table. I ordered the 2 pieces w/chips meal. Get 2 HUGE fish pieces; each piece not less than 12 inches (or more! long. Crispy and not fat. Served with a large part of steak cut pommes, 3 pieces of lemon and teersauce on the side. The food was so delicious!!! This place may be small, but they know how to treat customers; our table already looked clean, but it was wiped fresh again before our food came. I was once again impressed by the amount, quality and value of our meals. Besides, there was no greasy smell like you can find on many other fish and chip places. I had previously specialized fish and chips in 2 different restaurants in fish. In each of these cases I paid twice, even tripled the price here. While these restaurants had a lot of ambience, their quality of food fell short. Fish was baked, not fresh and obviously frozen. I've been in this little restaurant for over 40 years. During this time, the restaurant may have changed hands (or even names?). One thing that has not changed is the service and quality. If you are long for large fish chips, I recommend you come here! I know I'll be back soon!

Buttersoft fish with the consistency of fluffy scrambled eggs... huge fillets and even monsters looking for shrimps.. all and all a great lunch .. could hardly eat frys and was only able to the second fillet... I've never been to London, but these are the best fish and chips I've ever had... great work...

WORLD CUP DELIVERY MATCH MEALWhen England played against France in the quarterfinal of the World Cup this day. So instead of going to San Francisco to watch a sports bar, I decided to order a delivery of London Fish 'N chips matching since England played. I placed an order by DoorDash and ordered 3 pieces of fish and chips with one side of onion rings. If you have deep fried items for delivery most of the time, they're soggy. I was surprised that the bread of the fish and onion rings remained crispy. The fish was fleshy. The onion rings were not oily. The frits on the other side tasted okay. When frits are cut like steak-frries, I prefer a crispy outside with a damp middle. However, two of the three articles were pretty good. I can see myself ordering from this place. Maybe next time I come here to eat. Hopefully the riders have 't as hard as England when they lost to France in the quarterfinal of the World Cup.

Been coming here since I was a kid and it's still as delicious as ever. I'm not the biggest fan of fish but even I can't resist the golden, crispy, fried-to-perfection fish and chips here. Each piece of fish is really big and is tender on the inside, not overcooked. The fries are also crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and you get a lot in one order. You will definitely not leave this place hungry.In addition to the usual fish and chips plate, this time I also tried their chicken nuggets and, while I didn't expect anything mind-blowing, was surprised by how good they were. They were really juicy and tender. Also got to try the tenders, and while those were just a little on the dry side, they were still pretty good. But if you want chicken, go with the nuggets.Service is fast and the owners are really nice. My only complaint is the state of the inside of the restaurant. Given that fish and chips are best eaten onsite, fresh from the fryer, it'd be nice if the owners gave more consideration to the condition of the eating space. The carpet is dirty and old, everything feels slightly unclean, and there are very few tables to eat (a limitation of the size of the restaurant, but at least one more can be fit in there). I'm no stranger to dives or holes in the wall, but doing the absolutely bare minimum to make the dining area a nice place to sit and eat your food is kind of lame.Small gripes aside, this is a great local, longstanding institution and a very good meal every time.
