Bay City Bistro - Hayward

I have had lunch at this restaurant several times, and I really enjoy the food. Everything is prepared quickly and very well, and the staff is extremely friendly.

I ordered the Greek salad with salmon. The salad was fresh, but the salmon had a very strong flavor and an unappealing appearance, suggesting it had been cooked several days prior. They offer many sandwich options, but unfortunately, there are no gluten-free bread choices available, which leaves limited options for those with dietary restrictions.

While everyone has their own tastes when it comes to dining, I’m giving Bay City Bistro a well-deserved 5 stars. The restaurant boasts plenty of indoor seating (though currently unavailable due to COVID-19 restrictions) and has some outdoor seating as well. The atmosphere is consistently clean, the staff is friendly, and I really appreciate the wide range of food and drink options available. Plus, ordering online for quick pickups is a convenience I love. They also provide catering at a very reasonable price and were incredibly accommodating when I asked for specific adjustments.

Had a lunch break here. First visit and the place is well organized and clean. I ordered the Ruben sandwich with a side salad and a chocolate chip cookie. The Ruben was delicious. The bread was grill toasted, the corned beef was sliced thin and hot, and the dressing was the correct amount. I like sauerkraut and was pleased I asked for extra. The cookie was also delicious. It was thick without being dry and good quality chocolate chips. I recommend this spot and will be back.

Good place for lunch, in one of the industrial park in Hayward. It has some options for different tastes. The hamburger was OK with a little bit of cheese and couple of mushrooms plus tomatoes.the fries can be better. Good service and nice people at the counter.
