Took my teen grandkids who were visiting from Amarillo and my sister and my boyfriend. The atmosphere is very nice and the waitstaff very courteous. I enjoyed my chicken fajitas for one. What Chelseah Savage doesn't like about El Jardin:
A group of us came from out of town. The restaurant had maybe half the items listed online. We were the only ones in the restaurant on a Saturday night which was fine but a red flag. There was 1 waitress and she was great! The food was sad, definitely not worth the price. Two of us got fish tacos and I'm pretty sure the same fillet was used for both plates. View all feedback.

Absolutely fantastic. We swung by on a whim for dinner. I got enchiladas which were very good but my wife got cochinita pibil and I don't have words to describe how good it was. I would fly across the country to eat this again. It's top 3 things I've ever eaten easily if not 1 overall. The first bite of this opened a window directly to my soul. I was moved to tears as one who glimpses the face of God. Come to this place and get cochinita pibil and understand true enlightenment.
If you know and love good Mexican food, just keep driving. Sadly, this place completely misses the mark.
The margaritas chips and salsa were great. Past that the food was bland and simply not good. We had the fish Mahi Tacos. There was no seasoning on the fish. It almost seemed like frozen fish. The retried beans were watered down. We also had the chicken fajitas. Again no flavor and bland. Beautiful restaurant. Good location. Has a lot of potential if they worked on their cooking.
This place really hit the spot. Not many restaurants taste authentic out here but this place did, I had the chicken enchiladas and the beef fajita plate for one. It was delicious.
