Been going there a number of times over the last couple of years. A two-level place off Goulburn not often frequented by non-Chinese. Downstairs they offer hotpot, upstairs (on tablets) a considerable selection of everything. The food is really very good (also in the opinion...of my significant other who is from China). The ambiance is less impressive but that's not why people go there. The waitstaff tends to be chal... View all feedback.
What Eka Hastuti doesn't like about Spicy Sichuan Restaurant:
I have surpassed my expectations to a hotpot in sydney. I have eaten hotpot in China and china chili hotpot was as authentic as it could be and the good dinge was that they also speak and understand English. the buffet spread is amazing, sauce spice spread is wide, complementary water and fruits to cut on the spiciness of the broth is a good idea. the addition of fresh meatballs, garnish and fishballs (fresh) would b... I can not wait to do nothing to another cold winter night, because that's where you will probably find me! Absolutely adorable Sichuan hotspots with incredible aromas that were not replicated in Sydney elsewhere. The price is very reasonable and the serving sizes for each refill are very generous. Try the spicy soup (medium to hot if you do it), and get a healthy serving of fish fillets, the dumplings, and whatever else finds. Best visits in groups of 4 or more and expect you to turn to cold winter nights for a place.
First, first open a restaurant in Sydney in which most people speak English, so use English if you give the customer a wait number, so they understand, so they can at least understand what's after the attack of 30 minutes for dinner is going. Employees talked more and more Mandarin to us when we had already talked to them English (hints that we do not speak Mandarin). Second, when we prepare our own dive sauce and find our own bowls for the hot pot, set the preparation table at least easily, or inform us that we at least inform us that we get our own things. We paid more than $ 80 for a dinner for 2, we expected a better service. The readerafant was not busy, there were many empty tables and the staff went around to do nothing. The employees laughed and chatted together and we waited more than 30 minutes until the first court came. Serious guys, do not come here. Badest restaurant of all time !!! P / S: We all had a terrible abdominal pain after dinner.

Came over the dinner for dinner here. Order the spicy chicken-cold plate, long beans with pork minced meat, a saucepan chicken mushroom soup and smoked tea duck. It was not bad, but not the best.
The Dear Luncher was in Sydney town conducting Dear Luncher business and was staying in the apartment complex right next door to Spicy Sichuan. Ordered for take away were the lamb ribs with spicy sauce. One picture of a chilli appeared next to this menu item. As a result The Dear Luncher was all like "I got this". The spice blew Your Dear Luncher sideways. It was tremendously hot. But The Dear Luncher loves living on the edge (sh1t Aerosmith song), so this was a challenge The Dear Luncher relished. Head sweats galore, even back sweats. It was like a battle, not dinner. But a good battle because The Dear Luncher won. thedearluncher.wordpress.com
