Subway - Haymarket

The only sandwich artist at this location the night I went (it was the only location nearby still open after 9 pm) is the sole reason for the low rating. Zero eye contact, mumbling, lethargic perhaps she was having a bad day but I got the feeling this was her norm. Anyway, the subs were still good, but since I am not just rating the food, and with several other locations within a few minutes of one another, I had to separate this experience appropriately.

Worst Subway we've ever been to. Bland everything, from bread to ingredients.

Subway is a solid option. While I wouldn't say it's the absolute best sandwich spot, I can definitely count on getting a tasty sandwich here! Additionally, the staff at this location are incredibly friendly and polite, making for a welcoming and genuine customer experience. I really appreciate the service when I order my sandwiches. Plus, the weekly deals are fantastic if you need a little guidance with your order!

The food tastes good and the restaurant is presentable, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. However, my experience with the customer service from the staff leaves much to be desired. They rush you through the assembly line as if you’re just another number. I believe that if the person serving your food has a negative attitude, it can lead to bad karma—like getting sick. My mother-in-law was visiting for the weekend and really loved the Dominion Valley neighborhood, thinking that everyone and everything around was great. Unfortunately, after dining at this Subway, she left feeling quite unhappy. I won't be returning. It seems to be a common issue in many customer-oriented services where they make you feel like you're lucky to be receiving their help.

The location in Haymarket, Virginia has some staff members who speak English as a second language, which is perfectly acceptable. However, despite my attempts to clarify my order multiple times, I still didn't receive exactly what I wanted. Nevertheless, I was hungry, so I decided to go along with it.
