if they like blue crab, I recommend the teufelsei with crab, very good! I had the scallops and I thought it was too salty, but otherwise pretty good. the venison was enjoyed by my man and we had a French martini, which was also delicious, which they served with the overflow in a container on ice, which is generous and ended another full glass. the service was excellent. was a bit disappointed. expected a nice culinary experience. will say my single server was excellent. the food was good, but not good about the pricing. they don't get the devil eggs. they delivered 3 on a teller for $16. the salads were abundant and delicious. the venison meatballs were good. Really great business lunch. Food was really good and the service was also.
The ambiance in Olde Dominion is 100%. You completely forget you are in a shopping center, it feels like a hole in the wall, yet upscale tavern in a charming old town. The seating area to the left when you walk in is my personal favorite. The perfect spot for a cup of coffee and delicious weekend brunch!
We were running late but no problem with staff. Food was excellent. It was a little slow coming out but we enjoyed the relaxed pace. The drinks were very good. The waitress was spot on. Will definitely visit again.
Food was good, but service was slow. The restaurant only had about 6 tables filled while we were dining. Waited extended amount of time for warm coffee and hard sugar packets, not sure what our server was doing. Our wait time for our food was also extensive in that our food was then served warm instead of hot. However our meal was good, so we didn’t say anything about the temperature. Overall the portions are small, the service is slow, but the food is good.
Food was excellent. Service was great. Ambience was perfect.
