What Tseng Akera doesn't like about Cupcake Heaven:
Tried them for the first time recently and I will say I was completely disappointed. It is nearly $5 for a cupcake the size of one you would make at home. Got 4 cupcakes to try, 2 seasonal and 2 regular. The cupcakes were very good and the staff was friendly! I do think they are a little expensive for the size, but they were fresh and delicious.
I have ordered from Cupcake Heaven 3 times and each time they have delivered perfection! 2 times we needed gluten free which I can say do not have a after taste or any artificial flavors as some altered foods do. My gluten free friend stated it was the best! Way to make the best!!!!
In all seriousness, these are the best cupcakes I’ve ever had in my life. They put Georgetown cupcakes to shame. The only problem is that I don’t live closer. Definitely try them out!!
Best cupcakes in the Washington D.C area! Beats sprinkles and Georgetown cupcakes. I love their unique flavors and how the frosting is not heavy, which tends to be the downside of a lot of cupcakes.
Stopped in on a snowy day to finally try this shop. I ordered a latte and cupcakes to go. The cupcakes were perfect! Old fashioned in all the best ways- perfect textures and density of both cake and icing. Perfect flavors emerge amidst a tactful level of sweetness. Skip Georgetown. Come to Haymarket (Heaven? for cupcakes.
