We came here because it had a great crying list. I felt that the service from the door to the table was very professional. the place is beautifully decorated and very clean. it just seemed like it was a nice wrap, though, eating not supplying. everything was so salty, so salty. I love a good steak, but the filet had not tasted the quality that I am used to. we had the mushroom bisque, it was nothing special. the green beans were boiled over. the garnel and grits were again so salty. I was not about the flavored butter that was brought to the table, and the popover rolls were cold. really, that was probably our worst meal in our vacation in the opposite. the menu was also very boring, not many decisions. It doesn't matter to spend a $100 per head, but then it's gonna have to deliver. fortunately, we loved the wein we chose.
My wife and I have discussed twice at the copper door, and this is a hard criticism to write. I am blessed to live ten years in Europe and the coast to the coast in the Usa, so my tastes may be somewhat wider than others. I had the great pleasure, incredible restaurants all over the world. the copper door is indisputable the finest eating in this area, but honestly, this is not a very high bar. their ambiente and the personal are absolutely top-class. you eat is extraordinary. for this area. in any case we will return but in all honesty those who believe that this is the tip of eating really more to travel. in my modest opinion, the copper door is roughly overpriced. an dinner for two with reasonable meal upgrades and a mediocre bottle of wine will start $300. for much less I sung in a spectacular Indian restaurant in london (below the most expensive cities in the world) that was amazing. for about a fifth of them I sung in a restaurant at the French riviera, which brought me to death and had eaten at the table of the heart in the sky. all that said, copper door is a great culinary experience, that would be a much greater pleasure if they did not leave feeling as if they were paid pariser prices for an atlanta meal.
I had an amazing surprise birthday dinner at the copper door, she put a card on her table that notified the cook and the staff that it is her birthday, I got politely wished happy birthday without the embarrassment of someone singing me in the restaurant: . love that, the service was probably the best I experienced in a time. the food, wow! very high skala especially for this opposite, I was simply pleasantly surprised on all fronts with this restaurant. I hope I will return soon for another special occasion! take your mother, your wife, everyone who celebrates something special. or if you just want to get out a nice date night, you can't go wrong. our server even made our dessert so eloquent from us. 10/10 of us.
I've been through the years several times and always wanted to stop. I am glad that I did it. such a creative prix fixe menu. Where should I start? to the happiness our waiter patient and with great detail explained every cure and every choice and gave recommendations. everything was inventively kreatiw and tasty. great cocktails and wine list. highly recommended!
The service, the ambiance, the food. There’s an amazingly creative chef here. Each dish was beautifully presented and innovative. Most of all the tastes were sensational. Mark provided details of each course to help us make the best selection. We found the Prix Fix reasonable. We already look forward to our next dining experience at Copper Door.
