The Boathouse - Hayden

New manager and a revamped restaurant! It's now a fantastic place to dine. This spot used to be so disappointing that customers would leave mid-meal, but under Gabe's leadership, things have completely transformed.

Awful, greasy fish and chips with a strong fishy taste. It's overpriced and a big letdown for a place we used to like. This was the worst meal I've had in the area in quite a while.

I hadn't visited The Boathouse in a couple of years, but since it was a beautiful evening and I was out driving with my son, we decided to stop by.

Bummer. It used to be good. You do not accept food orders after 18:30 on a Saturday? Most foods are freezer to fryer consession stand food. Order burgers with charge of bacon, but no bacon and extra patty we did not want to have an offer to correct the bill. Fish and chicken and chips look like the ones you get in the grocery store and cooked to oblivion. 3 stars only for the beautiful atmosphere and views of the Hayden Lake. My pictures look fantastic compared to how the food tasted. Sad to give this review how I like to support local businesses, but this place could put a little more effort into their food.

Great atmosphere, but the food wasn't close to what it was, we had the pizza and it was really not good, I won't eat there again
