Moulin Labotte - Haybes

Very beautiful place in a beautiful landscape and a very good welcome not to miss!

Stayed at the hotel for one night (separate review) and initially thought the restaurant looked a bit expensive. However, the quality of food was very good and with generous portions, so we only needed the two course option (we had entree and main). I had carpaccio de cerf followed by the trio de bouef. Both were beautifully presented, well seasoned and cooked, and were a joy to eat, as were the accompanying salads and vegetables. The restaurant area has retained a lot of the old mill fittings and is warm and comfortable. The service was excellent, not too intrusive or at all rushed, and the table setting was fine dining style. There is a very extensive wine list which seemed reasonably priced, and overall we felt we had good value for money.

This was the in house restaurant for our hotel so was additionally attractive. It is a very atmospheric room the old mill floor? and was warm and inviting. The staff were very attentive and friendly and were not the least bit stuffy. The food was very good and interesting and portions were generous. So, because of the relaxed ambience we ate extremely well throughout a long evening. Great.

Very good French cuisine we go to make fun

I was very well received. My host kindly reserved me a table for the evening meal. I'll go back with a little sunlight to enjoy the outside. very quiet frame ds the woods. Room nickel
