Bossa Nova Brazilian Restaurant is a great place to experience the flavors of Brazil. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the service is attentive and friendly. The food is flavorful and well-prepared, with a good selection of meat dishes and vegetarian options. The only downside was the portion sizes, which were a bit smaller than expected. What Harsh Sharma doesn't like about Bossa Nova Brazilian Cuisine Hawthorne:
I didn’t like the food as such except for power grains and yucca flour they serve as side with plates. For me food kinda lacked Brazilian spices or flavors I’d say. Staff is amazing and they recommend a few Brazilian dishes. View all feedback.
Visited this place on the recommendation of a local and this place was awesome! I had the fire Chicken with back beans, white rice, and maduros and wow! Excellent taste and flavor to the chicken! It had enough spice to be delicious and hot hot enough to where it messed up your meal. The service provided by Gilbert was amazing! He went over and above to make us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The ambiance is new hip, upscale but casual all rolled into one. If you are looking for a great meal with great taste and great customer service, this is the place for you!!
Pretty good food and service as well! Went for a bday celebration and sat on the patio which was nice! They have very good meat, the season is great, we also got a pizza and for a place that's not known for pizza it was delicious! I would highly recommend this spot!

It’s as if eternal joy was spread across the menu here. That was my first time at Bossa Nova, and I assure you it will not be my last. What they did with that risotto…it should be display in the Food Museum of the World! I couldn’t get enough. I wish I had room to order another serving because [the oxtail risotto] was that good. Every thing I had and shared was mouthwateringly succulent. And if you don’t believe me, take yourself over to Bossa Nova, have an experience and let me know what you think. Heck, I might see you there.
