We had to wait a bit for someone to greet us and show us to our table, but after that, the service was excellent. The outdoor dining area is lovely, offering plenty of space between tables. The food was outstanding, and the highlight of the evening was the osso bucco rice balls. The truffled cream sauce was so delicious that we all wished we could lick the plates clean. We will definitely be returning! View all feedback.
What LarryB doesn't like about Bella Fig:
This isn’t a complaint about the restaurant itself, but rather about Open Table. We made a reservation through Open Table, received a confirmation, and arrived at the restaurant on time, only to find out that the restaurant is temporarily closed. View all feedback.
We went to Bella Fig on my adult sons suggestion. It was just fantastic, one of the top meals I’ve had in the area. And I am a huge foodie! 6 people, 4 apps all delicious, the rice balls were beyond delicious. We had pastas, fish, veal chop, all just excellent. The meal ended with 3 deserts, just amazing. I can’t wait to go back.
We had a wonderful dinner. They set up the tables the perfect distance and made their outside area very nice. It made us feel the most close to normal in a while. Will definitely go back.
Bella Fig is not inexpensive for a BYOB so I was expecting excellent food. Since it was a Saturday I assume the head chef was there. The Martini seafood was mediocre. There was something missing from the dish for a $14 appetizer. Not enough acid and inadequate seasoning. The Rice balls were Ok, but the meat in it was tough and stringy. My wife had the Zuppa de Peche that was ok, the quality of the seafood was not up to quality I would have expected. Tasted like frozen seafood I have the Frenched Veal. The veal was very tender but the sauce was watery, and the gratin of sweet potato and potato was bland. I will not be returning.
We were so hopeful when we arrived. The waiter was so nice and they such a nice job setting up safe outdoor dining. Appetizers the wedge salad and seafood martini were very good. I ordered what was listed as linguine with clams and sausage. My linguine came with clams and two shrimp. It did not match anything on the menu. And it was inedibly salty. I tried to like it but just couldn’t eat it. My husband’s tuna was very good and they accommodated his gluten free request.
Food was very good. Service was excellent. Ou t ft our seating was well spaced. We will go again.
