We came to this restaurant for a beer. What a surprise! There is a roof terrace with magnificent views of the river and the mountains. The choice of beers is quite large, usually locally and some internationally. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, led us through what to taste and where the breweries lay. Very recommended! I've visited Pikant in the past when visiting local business colleagues. The experience was OK and the food better than average for the locale. Now under new ownership the restaurant surpasses expectations on multiple levels. The food is excellent and the service exemplary, warm, professional, humorous and attentive. My business partner and I couldn't have asked for more. I'm not sure for how long Pikant will remain a local secret but I suggest you book to make sure you're not disappointed if staying locally. Perfect setting with perfect views too!
