I am the one who came up with the idea of... read more I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over 30 years. I even helped install their HVAC system in the 70s. I am the one who came up with the idea of the upside down pizza with marinara sauce and two layers of provolone cheese. Despite now having to travel 30 minutes to get there, I always enjoyed my visits. I have known George and Gus, the owners, for years. However, last week I asked the bartender to undercook my pizza and she seemed confused, not even sure if they had any crust available. They used to make their own dough, but I don't know what they are doing now. The pizza I received was the worst I have ever had - the crust was paper-thin and burnt. When the bartender offered to make me another one, I declined and told her to throw it in the trash. It was a horrible experience and left me disappointed.

The menu had plenty of options, the food was great, and the portions were generous. We were so happy to find such a nice place for a late lunch. Thanks to the server/bartender who took.great care of us.
