Boardwalk Vegan - HAVERTOWN

I recently visited Boardwalk Vegan and tried the disco fries and the Jet Star. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Being from the Jersey shore originally, I was thrilled to discover a restaurant that offers vegan versions of all my favorite boardwalk treats, such as funnel cake and fried Oreos. It was a bit disappointing that they were out of funnel cake mix during my visit, but I definitely look forward to returning. Overall, a great dining experience. (Review updated on 2023-09-23)

My partner and I both ordered a tuna sub and a side of fries, and we also shared some garlic knots. It was a lot of food! We probably could have just shared one sandwich and fries. The sandwich and fries were delicious, but we felt that the garlic knots could have had more garlic flavor. Overall, it was a good restaurant. Whenever I am in the area, I always make a point to dine at this restaurant. They offer a wide variety of vegan versions of popular Philly area dishes such as cheesesteaks and hoagies, in addition to standard options like pizza, fries, and wings. I particularly enjoyed the Cyclone cheesesteak, inferno fries, and the sea serpent hoagie - all of which were delicious. The highlight for me was the cheesesteak, which I believe is made with Chao cheese and the mushrooms really stood out. While I enjoyed my meal, I wouldn't mind seeing some healthier options on the menu. I appreciate that everything is vegan, as it makes it easy for me to simply order what looks good without having to search for a specific vegan option on the menu.

The pizza dough balls were quite simply out of this world. Their “cheese” may legit be the best vegan cheese I’ve ever had. The salad was plentiful and delicious. The pretzels were on point. Staff is super friendly. Highly recommended!

Obviously, don't come here for you health. Everything was delicious and decadent. Cheesesteak. Pizza. Fries with cheese and gravy. Milkshake.
